Staff vs. Students Tennis Showdown

Ms. Thomas was at it again at MFHS this week and challenged our staff district-wide to a tennis showdown with our girls tennis team.

Here’s what she said:

“I brazenly challenged some MFHS tennis players to a match vs. our administrative team and they are excited about the opportunity.  Other tennis team members are interested in playing staff and I thought it would be fun to see who in the district would be interested in playing. If you would like to participate, please respond to the link below.  We’ll get back to you with details.”

The response was amazing! Here’s what Coach Keller had to say:

I am extremely excited to see the level of interest for this fundraiser! The date to mark down on your calendar is next Friday, September 23rd. We invite everyone interested out to the courts at 4:00pm and we will plan to stay as long as 6 p.m.

Since this is a fundraiser we would like all challengers to make a donation as they challenge each player or doubles team so in other words, you gotta “pay to play.”

We will also have concessions as well as a bake sale medley available. Feel free to invite family and friends to join us or to simply watch as the Menomonee Falls Girls Tennis team crushes all challengers.

So stop out to the courts on Friday, Sept. 23 at 4 p.m. and play a match, or just watch! We might be able to get Mr. Woosencraft to play a game or two. Did you know he played tennis at Carthage College and had 68 career wins in singles?
